(no subject)

Just got back from lunch with Danielle. Still have more than half an hour to kill before it's back to the bit-mines. Thankfully I actually have something to work on when I get back now. It's complete busy-work, but at least I can pretend I'm being useful. I wish I didn't know as much about coding as I do, so I could exist in blissful ignorance thinking I was doing something vitally important for the whole project. Thankfully I'm not the sort of person who needs to feel useful at work. They pay me money, so I do what they say. If they happen to be paying me money to spin my wheels, well, that's their problem.

I've been all reminiscey today. Dug up the old quote files from the glory days of #sfgoth, back before it schismed into umpteen zillion sub-cliques. I certainly used a lot of exclamation points back then. Ah, 1998, wherefor art thou?

I have money in my bank account again. This is generally a good thing as long as I don't think about how much money I used to have in my bank account. That's going to take some getting used to, to put it mildly.

It's already the weekend, and I still haven't decided what I'm going to end up doing. I should probably do that soon, or else I'll just end up sleeping a lot. Not that there's anything wrong with sleeping. I'm really quite fond of it actually.
