This is the way we wait for builds, so early in the morning... errr, I mean afternoon.
Supposedly we're meant to be getting a new build today, but after about four hours it has yet to manifest itself. Everyone is of course horribly dissapointed by this turn of events. Most of the team has been playing counter-strike or unreal tournament, or something involving a lot of cursing and screaming at least. I can't tell them apart. I've been browsing the web, and cruising through the network of friends of friends of friends on livejournal adding to my interests list. I wonder if anyone has written a Bacon number web-spider for livejournal yet.
So, here's a tidbit about how harried the producers are at this point. I've got a bug in the database that says something along the lines of "When character A does event B, you can see a patch of black appear on the model. This occurs regardless of the camera angle. It appears that an internal black texture is clipping through the model". The producer responded by marking it Not A Bug, and stating "Not A Bug. An internal black texture is clipping through the model". *blink*. Oh, so you *meant* to do that. And not only that, thank you for telling me what I told you was going on.
I still need to figure out the nitty-gritty details of Burning Man, now that I've pretty much decided that I'm going. I also need to remind my lead and supervisor that I've told them since before I was hired that I was probably going to be taking a couple of days off at the end of August. Their response up to this point has always been "Oh, yeah, don't worry about it, the project will be over by then". *snerk*. Main to-do list: Buy ticket, decide when I'm going, figure out ride, start buying neccesities. I'm thinking about heading up wednesday night or thursday night at this point. Mainly depending on ride, which I don't yet have. Hrmmm. I should probably do something about that.
